Amanda's Cosmetics is designed to encourage everyone to be proud of their skin tone. Every product is tailored to a variety of shades because all shades are beautiful and none are too dark or too light to be so - let alone to wear makeup. My products are all inclusive, natural and innovative, with exceptional value as the core. To reflect this, my lovely models are a diverse range of skin tones, proving that what is made and sold looks fabulous on anyone.

From an even younger

age, I discovered the difficulty of buying makeup while black.

Companies seemed to not create shades darker than 'porcelain'

or 'sand', or sometimes the occasional 'tan' and the

companies with a relatively decent shade range, were quite

expensive and high end.

That seemed ridiculous to me - that I should have to pay more

for my melanin.

It made no sense as to why there weren't wider shade ranges

available. Did companies really think it sensible, let alone acceptable,

to not provide makeup for an entire demographic? 

Then I thought, "Maybe I should be more understanding. Perhaps

adding just a bit of colour is too hard or expensive. All those

undertones and shade matching must be quite tricky. Let me try

it myself, just to gain a wider perspective" 

Basically, it wasn't hard at all and I'm selling my own makeup now.
